All Scripture Is Profitable
Ongoing Bible Study Opportunities
Several Bible classes meet regularly. The Sunday morning study in the school basement has just begun an in-depth look at worship from a Biblical, Lutheran perspective. Pastor Snyder uses Good News Magazine as a study guide. Easy to read, rich in Scripture resources, and overflowing with attractive, edifying art, the magazine brings the group to a deeper understanding of what entails true divine worship.
On most Tuesday mornings, Pastor Snyder leads a study at Sweet Springs Villa. The group began a study of the Gospel According to Saint Luke on Tuesday 4 December. Originally meeting in homes, the Tuesday class later migrated to the school. It moved to the Villa with three of our members who became residents, attracted several others, and continues even though none of the three remain residents at the Villa.
Finally, the Men’s Bible Study, which has also seen a number of homes through the years, currently meets each Thursday morning in the dining hall of Saint Paul Lutheran High School. Participants may eat breakfast at the school while joining new leader Walter Loeber for rich and thorough study of the Scriptures.
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16
